Town Hall 16
Town Hall 16 was released on December 12, 2023, in the Clash for Nature update. This was one of the most unique Clash of Clans updates ever, introducing nature-inspired visuals, powerful merged defenses, and new Hero Pets. The Ricochet Cannon and Multi-Archer Tower brought fresh defensive mechanics, making TH16 bases harder to crack, while upgrades across troops, buildings, and pets pushed strategy to a new level.
Town Hall 16 Update Highlights (Dec 12, 2023)
- Merged Defenses:
- Ricochet Cannon: A new defense that fires bouncing projectiles, damaging multiple units in a line. Very strong against swarm attacks.
- Multi-Archer Tower: An upgraded version of the Archer Tower that shoots multiple arrows at once, increasing DPS against both air and ground units.
- New Hero Pets:
- Spirit Fox: Grants invisibility to its Hero for a few seconds, making attacks more unpredictable.
- Angry Jelly: It temporarily forces its paired hero to prioritize defensive buildings during an attack.
- Defense & Building Upgrades:
- New levels for Eagle Artillery, Inferno Towers, X-Bows, Air Defenses, and traps.
- Resource Storages, Army Camps, and Barracks upgraded for higher capacity.
- Strengthened walls and defensive structures make TH16 harder to 3-star.
- Troop & Siege Upgrades:
- Electro Titan, Lava Hound, Balloon, and several other troops unlocked higher levels.
- Siege Machines such Siege barracks, Log Launcher and Flame Finger received upgrades for stronger offensive strategies. Troop Launcher unlocked.
- Quality of Life Improvements:
- Upgrade times and resource costs reduced for many mid-level Town Halls.
- Dark Elixir economy improved to help balance pet upgrades.
- Builder and progression improvements for smoother upgrading at TH16.
